Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Eugene, OR invites you to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program in the Civil practice. You’ll work with Civil 3D, designs, research, and site visits as part of a collaborative team.

Our Portland office supports interns with an on-site/hybrid schedule (3 days in office, up to 2 days remote) and a structured Intern Training Program, KPFF-U sessions, and vendor lunch-and-learns. Pay is $25/hour for 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BSCE program at the junior or senior level.
• Available for the full 3-month internship.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri).
• Pay: $25/hour.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well both independently and in a team.
• Organized and good at managing time.

Responsibilities

• Use Civil 3D with support from mentors to learn the ropes.
• Design, create plans, do research, and head out on site visits.
• Head toIntern Training Program, KPFF-U learning sessions, and vendor lunch-and-learns.
• Work in a hybrid schedule: in-office 3 days/week after onboarding with up to 2 remote days.
