IMEG Corp is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern in Houston, TX for a 10-12 week summer program. You will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of civil systems on real projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

You’ll learn field inspections, report writing, permit applications, site drainage and grading design, and gain exposure to the civil engineering trade across municipal, university, and utility work.

  • Research resources for commercially available equipment.
  • Support client relations, maintain the project design notebook, and provide documentation.
  • Coordinate design and schedule with disciplines such as architectural, structural, electrical, and more.
  • Document design decisions, meetings and client instructions while monitoring progress.
  • Review project documents for accuracy prior to final checks.
  • Assist with preparation and issuance of addendum information.
  • Conduct periodic job site observations and other contract-required services.

Civil Engineering Intern | Houston, TX 100% Employee-Owned · Big-firm resources, local-team relationships, ONE IMEG culture IMEG is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern in Dallas, TX. Over 10-12 weeks, you’ll assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of civil systems. This paid, mentored internship offers real project work supporting field inspections, report writing, permit applications, site drainage and grading design, and learning the civil engineering trade. You’ll support project documentation, coordination, and job site observations while working with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to help meet project goals and client expectations. The team supports municipal, university, and utility work across Texas, delivering resilient, environmentally responsible infrastructure.

  • May be required to assist with field duties such as surveying and materials testing

  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
