Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Transportation Engineering Interns to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects, including highway and roadway design. You will work with professional engineers and project managers to deliver bold transportation solutions.

You will assist with design calculations, prepare reports, and develop drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. This internship offers exposure to standards, federal/regional requirements, and a hybrid work policy.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree seeking program in Civil or Transportation Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Ideally, you’ll also have previous experience design or transportation-related coursework

• Help prepare technical reports and design documentation

We are looking for Transportation/ Civil Engineering Interns interested in working on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects including highway/roadway design and other transportation related projects. Project opportunities may include supporting the design of interstate highways and freeway interchanges. You’ll work with the best Professional Engineers and Project Managers in the business. Your Responsibilities May Include

• Assistin basic highway/roadway geometric design calculations

The base salary range for this position is $45,000.00 to $65,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
