HRG in Morgantown, WV is seeking an Engineering Intern in Civil to gain hands-on experience supporting real-world projects in municipal & water resources, site design, water and wastewater, or transportation.

You will work with experienced team members, learn engineering practices, and develop foundational skills for your career. This internship provides exposure to project work, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful municipal infrastructure projects.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field, preferred but not required
• No prior professional experience required; previous internship or coursework in engineering is a plus
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and take initiative
• Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively and professionally with team members
• Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc.
• Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
• Valid US Driver’s License is required
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with basic tasks in the design and development of engineering projects under supervision
• Gather and organize project data, including code requirements and industry standards
• Support data collection, field inspections, and preparation of technical documentation
• Use standard office and engineering software to support project activities
• Ensure accuracy and quality in assigned tasks
• Suggest ideas to improve project efficiency and organization
