Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC (GMC) is seeking an Engineering Intern (UF) to support ongoing projects in the Lutz, FL or Mobile, AL offices. The internship will involve preparing reports, site plans, permit documents, and construction schedules across diverse projects, with guidance from engineers.

Responsibilities include coordinating with technicians, performing routine checks, and assisting with client and consultant coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil3D experience preferred.
• A/E or EPC experience a plus.
• Foundations of Engineering Certificate (EIT) a plus.

Aufgaben

• Apply technical skills to routine projects with minimal supervision.
• Direct technicians for production of engineering documents for routine projects.
• Coordinate cross-discipline checks and ensure quality assurance of project documents.
• Assist in defining scope of work with Clients and Consultants/Contractors.
• Prepare reports and technical memorandums under supervision by the Engineer-of-Record.
• Present information clearly in oral and written format.
• Participate in development planning and process improvements.
