Job summary

STV is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects.

This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office and a preference for internships of at least 3 months with potential for full-time work. The role includes assisting in project design, collaborating with architects and engineers, interfacing with

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.
• Preferred knowledge of MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and/or Open Roads Designer.
• Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and stakeholders.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulators to address project issues.
• Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
• Prepare technical reports and development applications.
• Contribute to engineering designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Learn and apply current engineering standards and procedures.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and documentation.
• Perform other tasks to support project goals.
