Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern in Ontario, CA (and Las Vegas, NV) to work with experienced engineers on design, field inspections, reports, permit applications, and site drainage and grading. Over 10–12 weeks, you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting active project work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Civil Engineering.
• Field duties such as surveying and materials testing may be required.
• Strong interest in design consulting and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of civil projects according to code and IMEG standards.
• Research resources for commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations and project documentation.
• Coordinate design and schedule with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document design decisions and client instructions.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final checks.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic site observations and other contract services as required.
