Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. in Meridian, ID is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the summer to support planning, design and construction activities across site development, stormwater, transportation, utilities and community infrastructure.

You will gain exposure to real world engineering work, develop CAD skills, assist with reports and cost estimates, and collaborate with engineers, project managers and contractors in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS applications is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented and able to work with a professional team and independently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of civil engineering projects including roadways, drainage, utilities, and site development.
• Use CAD software to create plan sheets, details, and figures.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Conduct field inspections and collect project data.
• Support project teams in meetings and problem-solving discussions.
• Provide miscellaneous support tasks as needed; mentorship from engineers.
