Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the summer. You will support the planning, design, and construction of a broad range of civil projects including site development, stormwater, and utilities, while gaining real-world experience and technical skills.

You will use CAD tools for plan sheets, assist in specifications and cost estimates, and work with engineers, project managers, and public agencies to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D or GIS is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of civil projects, including roadways and drainage systems.
• Create plan sheets and details using CAD tools.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and gather budgetary pricing.
• Review drawings and perform quality checks on deliverables.
• Conduct field inspections and tests; collect project data.
• Document data to support design decisions and reporting.
• Support multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings.
• Assist with project documentation and permitting packages.
