Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil Intern/Co-Op to join our civil engineering design team serving clients in the New England area. You will help prepare plans, detail drawings, and quantity estimates on projects of varying size and complexity, contributing to highway, local roadway, and multi-modal transportation designs.

As an employee-owned firm, HDR values collaboration, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and proficiency with MicroStation and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• The Civil Intern/Co-Op will work as a member of the civil engineering design team on projects serving clients in the New England area.
• The position includes preparation of plans, detail drawings, and quantity estimation for projects of various sizes and complexity.
