Job summary

Garver's Water Design Center in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern. This in-office role offers hands-on experience in designing site civil components for water and wastewater facilities and opportunities to contribute to grading, drainage, and utilities.

You will assist engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform basic calculations, and participate in project meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in designing water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
