Garver's Water Design Center in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Process Engineering Intern. This in-office internship offers hands-on design experience in water and wastewater treatment projects, data review, and modeling tasks within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with water and wastewater treatment plant assessment and design.
  • Assist with improvements and retrofitting of existing facilities.
  • Assist with the design of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Data review and analysis; mass balance, hydraulic modeling, and process modeling.
  • Water and wastewater equipment design tasks (blowers, pumps, filters, membranes, UV disinfection).

Internship Description

Assist with WDC projects including:

  • Water and wastewater treatment plant assessment and design.
  • Improvements and retrofitting of existing treatment facilities.
  • Assist with the design of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Some examples of design tasks are:
  • Assist in the development of detailed designs for various water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Data review and analysis
  • Mass balance, hydraulic modeling, and process modeling
  • Water and wastewater treatment equipment design such as large-scale blowers, pumps, filters, membranes, UV disinfection, etc.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
