Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Texas is seeking December 2026 and May 2027 graduates to join our engineering team. The role involves assisting in technical design, project coordination, and ensuring compliance under guidance of a licensed professional engineer (P.E.).

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Past internship with a civil design firm is beneficial.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare technical reports and documentation using MS Office.
Direct and review the work of engineering technicians to ensure accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions.
Assist in design and preparation of plans for land development projects (grading, drainage, utilities).
Support District services including CIP budgeting, bond applications, feasibility studies, and regulatory compliance.
Review development plans for compliance and assist in construction oversight.
