Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Houston invites December 2026 and May 2027 graduates to join our civil engineering team. You will participate in the design, analysis, and implementation of land development and district services projects under the guidance of a licensed P.E.

This position emphasizes technical design, reporting, coordination with project managers and multidisciplinary teams, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months from start date.
• Internship experience in civil design is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical reports, studies, and documentation using MS Office Suite.
• Direct and review the work of engineering technicians to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Assist in design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects (grading, drainage, utilities).
• Support CIP planning, bond applications, feasibility studies, and related documentation.
• Review development plans, plats, and construction drawings for compliance with standards.
