Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET accredited program.
• Proficient in discipline-specific design software (Merlin Dash, AASHTO BrR, OpenBridge).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using MicroStation.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Engineer-in-training certification.
• Experience collaborating with local county and state clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform alternative studies.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial data to plan projects.
• Perform design computations.
• Design projects following client specs using design software.
• Develop construction cost estimates.
• Assist in preparing engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
• Coordinate with internal team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
