Job summary

AED Energy Services is seeking a Civil Engineering Department Manager to lead deliverables for critical infrastructure projects nationwide. You will collaborate with Engineers, CAD Designers, and Project Managers in design, development, and maintenance programs related to energy projects, including pipelines and water resources.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional infrastructure experience, including water/sewer, pipeline, or energy projects.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain license.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and possess a valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and develop engineering activities for pipelines and utilities.
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and final drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Collect and analyze data to support design decisions.
• Perform permitting, field visits, and oversee projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers on projects.
