Job summary

Braun Intertec invites students pursuing engineering, construction management, or related fields to join our Urbandale, IA office for a 6-month co-op opportunity focused on field testing of soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt.

As a co-op, you will work with project managers and technicians, gain hands-on experience, complete safety and ACI certifications, and learn ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, and DOT standards while lifting 75+ pounds and performing outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months (mid-May to December).
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform outdoor work.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt.
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Gain in-depth training and industry certifications upon successful completion.
