Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) seeks a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager for our Philadelphia, PA area office.

You will work with project teams to develop land development plans for commercial, institutional, and energy clients, focusing on site layouts, grading, stormwater, water quality practices, and utility design. You will interact with clients, contractors and government officials, influencing projects from conceptual design through regulatory review, bidding and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years civil engineering experience; site layout, grading, stormwater, and utility design.
• EIT or FE certification and aim to obtain a PE license.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
• Strong communication, mentoring and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and energy clients.

Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Philadelphia, PA office, you'll work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients. You'll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. By interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the entire project-from the conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience; or a relevant combination of experience and education; to include: site layout, grading, stormwater, and utility design
• Engineering in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification and ability/desire to obtain Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
• Practical experience with technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling software
• Interest in participating in internal and external client-and professional-development-based organizations
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and time management skills
