Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Pittsburgh, PA office in 2027. This is not a remote position.

You will analyze, produce, and QC deliverables using software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and more. Successful candidates hold an ABET-accredited degree by Summer 2027 in civil/environmental, mechanical, electrical, biosystems, chemical, agricultural engineering, or engineering technology.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
• Majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering; Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
• Solve complex problems and collaborate across disciplines with project managers.
• Develop familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn's practices and standards.
• Learn software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
