Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Jacksonville, Florida office in 2027. This is not a remote position. You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS and related tools to assist with design, planning, permitting, and analysis across multiple projects.

You will learn across disciplines, support project managers, and contribute to the built environment. An ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 is required, with majors including Civil/Environmental or

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027.
  • Major in Civil/Environmental or Mechanical/Electrical/ Biological/Biosystems/ Chemical/ Agricultural Engineering or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
  • Solve complex problems and assist project managers across disciplines.
  • Learn discipline-specific software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, GIS.
