Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Princeton, NJ seeks engineering graduates to join our Princeton office in 2027. This is not a remote position.

You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software to analyze, design, and deliver client solutions while learning regulations and procedures that guide our projects.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related fields.
  • Engineering Technology degree considered.
  • Majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices.
  • Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
