Pape-Dawson Consulting Engineers, LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking recent graduates (Dec 2026 or May 2027) to join our civil engineering team. The role supports design, analysis, and implementation of water and wastewater projects under a licensed P.E. guidance.

Responsibilities include preparing reports and coordinating with project managers, while gaining hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and project permitting packages. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering required or in progress.
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months from start date.
  • Internship with civil design firm beneficial.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D familiarity a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical reports, studies, and documentation using MS Office Suite.
  • Direct and review the work of engineering technicians to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop engineering solutions.
  • Assist in planning and design of water distribution and wastewater systems, including hydraulic modeling.
  • Prepare governmental permitting packages and maintain submittal logs for projects.
