Job summary

Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership, LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to support the Regulatory Decision Integration organization for the On-site Waste Disposal Facility (OSWDF) and Centralized Wastewater Treatment (CWWT) projects. Under limited supervision, you'll apply civil engineering skills to site characterization, grading, stormwater, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing subcontractor submittals, preparing drawings and specifications, coordinating with stakeholders

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering and 5 years of experience in design of waste disposal facilities.
• Understanding of codes and regulatory practices for waste disposal.
• Experience with civil design calculations, site characterization, and geotechnical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review OSWDF subcontractor submittals for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Prepare engineering drawings and technical specifications per FRNP procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for design inputs, outputs, reviews and approvals.
• Assist in procurement reviews and long-lead item specifications.
• Develop operating procedures and participate in safety/work groups.
