Job summary

Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership seeks a Civil Engineer to perform design duties within Regulatory Decision Integration for on-site waste disposal facility (OSWDF) and Centralized Wastewater Treatment (CWWT) projects. You will apply engineering skills on site characterization, earthwork, drainage, liners, leachate management, and seismic/foundation design.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience in waste disposal facility design.
• Understanding of codes and regulations for waste disposal.
• Experience with Civil3D or MicroStation and Slope/W preferred.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• DOE L clearance required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Apply FRNP engineering procedures for design and drawings.
• Coordinate OSWDF subcontractor design inputs and reviews.
• Analyze civil calculations: earthwork, drainage, liner systems.
• Assist procurement with vendor specs and long-lead items.
• Prepare technical documentation and RFP inputs.
• Support weekly progress meetings and cost tracking.
• Ensure safety and quality in construction startup.
