Job summary

SEH invites applications for a Civil Engineer to join our civil team in New Richmond, WI. You will support planning, design, and delivery of transportation and site development projects, using AutoCAD Civil 3D for roadway and utility designs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, EIT or ability to obtain, and willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings. In-office collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ability to collaborate in-office.
• Ability to travel as needed for meetings, client consultations, and site visits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous Internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation, municipal, and site development projects.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop designs for roadways, trails, sidewalks, utility systems, and site improvements.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports for public and private infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
• Perform site visits, field reviews, and construction observation activities as needed.
• Manage assigned project tasks and communicate progress to project teams and supervisors.
