Job summary

Chastain and Associates LLC is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to oversee IDOT Phase I–III projects across multiple offices and manage project backlogs. You will cultivate client relationships and collaborate with Business Development to pursue IDOT PTB items, while guiding Phase I/II municipal projects and maintaining strong client satisfaction.

The role requires a PE license (Illinois or ability to obtain), a Bachelor's in Engineering, and 10+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IDOT roadway/bridge design and staff mentoring
• Hybrid schedule available
• Proficient in MS 365, MicroStation/OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D; Adobe a plus

What You'll Do as the Transportation Project Manager

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain
• Education: A Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is )
• Experience: 10+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, and managing/mentoring civil engineering staff
• Location: Decatur, IL - Rockford, IL- Lafayette, IN - Schaumburg, IL - Hybrid schedule is available
• Software skills: Microsoft 365, MicroStation/Open Roads and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D beneficial)
• Adaptability: excel at adapting to changing project requirements.
