LeoForce in Chicago, IL is seeking a Permanent Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team. The role focuses on roadway geometric design and the use of PowerGeopak, OpenRoads, and MicroStation to design and implement transportation systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of transportation design experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers in a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation design and planning.
• Experience with PowerGeopak, OpenRoads and MicroStation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of roadway geometric design and codes.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a variety of exciting projects in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of transportation systems, with a focus on roadway geometric design. Salary: $80,000 - $155,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and planning of transportation projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and project deadlines.
• Utilize software tools such as PowerGeopak, OpenRoads, and MicroStation for transportation design and analysis.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex engineering concepts and designs to a variety of audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Advanced knowledge of local and national engineering standards and codes related to transportation design.
• Ability to conduct site visits, assessments, and inspections as necessary.
