Job summary

Site Resources in Hunt Valley, Maryland is seeking a Civil Engineer/Site Planner to join a collaborative team on a range of site development projects. You will work with civil engineers, landscape architects, and designers from concept through construction.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field), 5+ years' experience, Maryland regulatory familiarity, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years experience with civil engineering or multidisciplinary design firms.
• Professional licensure or active pursuit thereof.
• Experience with Maryland stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design, permitting and land development regulations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with civil engineers, landscape architects, and designers on site development projects.
• Lead projects from concept through construction while managing schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Prepare and oversee site/civil construction documents, specifications, and permit plans.
• Design grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility systems in accordance with Maryland regulations.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to client relationships and business development.
