DLZ Corporation seeks a Civil Engineer specializing in Site Development in Waterford, Michigan to support planning, design and delivery of public and private projects. You will work with project managers and junior staff, mentoring teammates and coordinating with clients and agencies to ensure constructible, compliant designs.

The role requires 4+ years of civil/site development experience, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, and licensure/certification milestones (EIT/PE).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of civil engineering experience focused on site development.
• Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion control plans.
• Experience supporting land development projects (commercial, industrial, institutional, residential or municipal).
• EIT certification required for CE II; PE licensure in Michigan required for CE III.

Responsabilités

• Perform civil engineering design for site development projects of moderate complexity.
• Prepare and review site plans, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater plans, and construction details.
• Coordinate design activities with project managers, engineers, technicians, surveyors, architects, clients, and agencies.
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, cost estimates, and documentation.
• Support projects from planning through permitting, bidding, and construction.
