Job summary

BL Companies is seeking a Senior Technical Civil Engineer to oversee land development projects from start to finish. The role requires direct project execution, strong leadership, and mentoring of junior staff. A PE license and 8+ years of civil/utility experience are required.

Responsibilities include site layout, grading, stormwater design and permitting, erosion control design, and preparation of development permits. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil or utility-related engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license (PE).
• Site layout, grading, storm water and erosion control design experience.
• Trenchless technology design experience.
• Construction/constructability experience with design drawings.
• Foundation/geotechnical knowledge.
• Strong specification writing abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
