BL Companies in Connecticut seeks a Senior Technical Civil Engineer to oversee land development projects from start to finish. The role focuses on site layout, grading, storm water design, and permits for retail, commercial, and residential spaces.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of civil/utility engineering experience, PE license preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills. Hybrid work environment with comprehensive benefits and employee ownership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil or utility-related engineering experience
• PE license preferred
• Experience with site layout, grading, stormwater and erosion control design
• Experience in civil-related utility design and trenchless technology
• Experience with field issue resolution and producing design drawings
• Geotechnical/foundation knowledge and specification writing
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

Civil Engineer – Senior TechnicalOur growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Engineer to oversee land development projects from start to finish. This role requires direct project execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, budget, and timeline.A successful candidate in this role will have 8+ years of experience as a civil engineer with a PE license in the state they will be working out of.
