Job summary

Recutify in Arizona seeks an experienced Civil Engineer - Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects across Arizona, from planning and permitting through design, construction, and commissioning, while supporting business development and client relationships.

The role requires a PE license, 8+ years of civil engineering experience, and strong communication and leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams and navigate municipal and state approvals; occasional travel

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience managing renewable energy projects preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead projects from planning through construction.
• Experience with municipal and state approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage renewable energy projects and portfolios.
• Prepare technical reports, studies, and secure permits and approvals.
• Develop and evaluate plans for utility-scale and distributed generation projects.
• Coordinate engineers, designers, surveyors, and consultants.
• Support municipal and state approval processes.
• Oversee projects through construction and commissioning phases.
• Participate in client development, marketing, and proposal writing.
• Present at public meetings and industry events.
• Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level staff.
• Travel to project sites and conferences as required.
