Puget Sound Energy seeks a civil engineering expert to drive renewable generation projects from feasibility to construction. You will lead complex programs, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and mentor other engineers.

The role requires a degree or PE license, extensive experience, and strong collaboration skills to guide multi-million‑dollar projects and technical due diligence across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or PE licensure.
• 10+ years of engineering experience typically gained after 10 or more years.
• Advanced technical expertise and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Serve as the civil engineering subject matter expert for renewable generation projects, providing technical due diligence, design review, and engineering support from feasibility through construction. Lead complex projects, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with standards and regulations, and mentor and support the development of other engineers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering field or a PE license, extensive engineering experience typically gained after 10 or more years, advanced technical expertise, project leadership, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications include 7-10 years of utility-scale solar project experience, onsite construction experience, a civil engineering degree, a PE license, and experience managing complex multimillion-dollar projects.
