Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) is a consulting firm recognized as one of the “Best Firms to Work For” by Zweig Group. We are a team of engineers, planners, and related design professionals actively seeking to grow our aviation presence in Denver. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and expand our aviation capabilities in a new market.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Planning, design, and construction of civil & transportation projects focused on aviation development.
  2. Lead design tasks and supervise junior staff.
  3. Prepare bidding documents, including plans and specifications, site development, grading, drainage, pavement design, signage, utilities, and project scheduling.
  4. Support client relationships and business development activities.
  5. Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks for aviation projects.
  6. Oversee construction-related tasks, including site observation and project engineering.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of civil engineering experience with expertise in transportation, civil site development, and infrastructure; aviation experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Professional Engineering License, preferably in Colorado.
  • Experience in business development, staff supervision, and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and maintain a valid driver’s license.
