Job summary

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered in Washington, DC, is seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead site/civil projects and mentor design staff. This full-time role emphasizes client relations, project management, and staff supervision while overseeing budget and scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license (MD or able to obtain within six months), 10+ years in land development and civil engineering, and strong AutoCAD/Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland or ability to obtain within six months of hire is required.
• Ten+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering and construction management in Prince Georges County, MD.
• Five+ years of experience managing civil engineering design staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and written/verbal communication.
• Entitlement work experience is a plus.
• Proficient use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Civil Engineer - Project Manager

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Civil Engineer/Project Manager.

A Site/Civil Engineering Project Manager will be the client's primary point of contact, will manage project staffing, workload and resource allocation for project tasks, project scheduling and financials. The Project Manager will serve as a mentor and provide direct supervision to the engineering design staff.

Salary Range: $55 to $65 per hour

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering

• Ten (10+) years of experience in the technical aspect of land development, civil engineering and construction management in Prince Georges County, Maryland
• Five (5+) years of experience in managing civil engineering design staff
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Entitlement work experience is a plus
• Proficient use of AutoCAD and other industry design and Microsoft Office software

Working Conditions

This position is full-time in office. Supervisor will determine remote work days.
