• Registered PE in Michigan required.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience required.
• Project manager experience on municipal, roadway, sanitary, water, or site design projects preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepares proposals, contracts, and subcontracts.
• Establishes project deadlines and tracks progress with regular status reports.
• Leads kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and client meetings.
• Collaboration with Business Development to identify and pursue opportunities.
• Coordinates with team members to define roles, schedule, and budget for projects.
• Monitors budgets and scope of work.
• Reviews plans and reports to ensure client needs are met.

Abonmarche is seeking a Project Manager in our Grand Rapids, MI office.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepares proposals, contracts, and subcontracts
• Establishes project deadlines and tracks progress and follow up on all aspects of a project (deadline, permits, etc.) as well as provides weekly and/or monthly status reports
• Leads kick off meetings, progress meetings, and client meetings
• Works with Business Development to identify, evaluate and pursue opportunities
• Works with team members as well as other technical staff to establish team roles, project schedule, and budget for new projects
• Monitors project budgets and scope of work
• Reviews plans, reports and other work product to confirm that they meet the client’s needs

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Michigan
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering
• Experience in a project manager role for any of the following types of projects is preferred: municipal, roadway reconstruction, sanitary sewers, water mains, storm sewers, trails, traffic signals, site design for residential, commercial, educational, and industrial projects
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
• Good verbal and written skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs
