Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role is open to candidates who are either:

  • A Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), or
  • An Engineering Intern (EIT) actively working toward licensure.

The Civil Engineer will play a key role in delivering land development and civil site design projects while contributing to a team culture that values both technical excellence and faith‑based principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop civil engineering projects including site grading, utilities, and stormwater systems.
  • Prepare detailed construction documents and schematics using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Perform stormwater design using ICPR and potable/reclaimed water design with WaterCAD.
  • Draft technical reports such as stormwater reports, lift station reports, and utility reports.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies via phone, email, and meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required).
  • PE License in Florida or EIT certification with plans to obtain PE license in the near future.
  • 3–4 years of experience in civil site design and land development (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
  • Knowledge of local, state (FDOT, FDEP, WMD), and federal regulations and permitting processes.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
