Job summary

PTR Global in Boca Raton, Florida seeks a Professional Engineer to lead civil land development projects. The ideal candidate will design and manage infrastructure, ensure high-quality technical documents, and support permitting processes.

Required is a Florida PE license with 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools is expected, along with strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Florida Professional Engineer License required.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations for storm-water management, potable water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection and transmission.
• Prepare specifications and drawings for various projects.
• Design land development infrastructure, including roadways, water, sewer, and drainage systems.
• Prepare and process permits through all applicable agencies.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, CAD drafters, and other disciplines.
• Review, correct, and approve shop drawings and material specifications.
• Attend and participate in meetings with clients and internal staff.
• Deliver project technical documents with a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Provide construction inspection services.
• Process certification and closeout of permits through all applicable agencies.
