Job summary

Foresight Land Surveying, a BHI Company, is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer (PE/EIT) to plan and design moderate to complex projects while working closely with the Engineering Team to achieve project goals. The role can be based in North Salt Lake City or Logan.

Salary is negotiable and could exceed the $90,000 to $120,000 range. Benefits include weekly pay, health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401k with match, and liberal PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• 1–2 years of hands-on engineering experience preferred (construction or civil infrastructure).
• EIT certification or PE license is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (CAD, BIM, FEM, spreadsheets).
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent English communication; knowledge of codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design moderate to complex projects with the Engineering Team.
• Create construction plans and details; perform engineering calculations.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and governmental regulations.
• Collaborate with owners, sub-consultants, reviewers, and construction teams.
