FOCUS Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineer with PE/EIT or staff engineer potential to join our Utah/Idaho team. You will provide CAD drafting support, coordinate with engineers, and ensure designs meet municipal codes while delivering excellent client service.

The position emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to work with little supervision. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply for growth within a supportive, award-winning firm.

Formación

• Recently, or close to, graduating from a civil engineering program.
• Strong communication and client service mindset.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general CAD drafting and design support for engineers, architects, surveyors, and land planners to produce design drawings.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to clients.
• Organize information to create final construction drawing packages for projects.
• Ensure design deliverables meet municipal codes and requirements.
• Adopt and apply quality control review processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Be the client’s advocate to help navigate municipality approval.
• Build relationships with project managers and engineers to collaborate and problem-solve.
• Coordinate with diverse individuals involved in the development process.
• May perform administrative-type duties as required, e.g., copying plans and delivering submittals.
• Participate in department goal setting, reviews, and development.
