Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and managing projects related to renewable energy, particularly biogas production through anaerobic digestion.
• Developing and optimizing piping design for various applications, including but not limited to biogas transportation.
• Overseeing grading and concrete work, ensuring all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Creating and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and plans.
• Collaborating with the finance team to manage project costs, develop budgets, and ensure financial feasibility.
• Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Liaising with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Continually monitoring and evaluating the performance of energy generation systems, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Civil Engineer position will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or further education is a plus.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with specific experience in renewable energy, agriculture, and energy generation.
• Proficiency in the design and operation of anaerobic digestors and biogas systems.
• A strong background in piping design, grading, and concrete work.
• The ability to create and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical team members.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to sustainability and a passion for renewable energy.
