Job summary

Crudo Consulting seeks a Civil Engineer PE to join our growing team in California, leading civil projects for municipal clients.

You will develop site plans, roads, drainage, ADA intersections, and manage costs and schedules while liaising with clients and mentoring junior staff. A CA or OR PE license and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Active California or Oregon P.E. license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of civil experience in municipal engineering, roadway design, GIS, hydraulic design, and project management.
• Experience with design and modeling software tools, specifically AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assess civil design documents including, but not limited to site development plans, local roads, complete streets, drainage, and ADA-compliant intersections.
• Ensure project costs, schedule, and performance targets are achieved.
• Serve as project manager/liaison between technical resources and clients, including attending client meetings, town halls, etc.
• Engage in business development efforts to support the development of the project pipeline.
• Mentor and coach more junior engineers and project managers to develop staff.

Civil Engineer Benefits

• Base Salary $90 – 135k depending on post-PE experience
