Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at Elcora Engineering Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, airports, dams, water supply systems, and other public works. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure successful project execution, completion on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing detailed designs, plans, and specifications for infrastructure projects.
2. Conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses.
3. Using CAD software and other design tools for technical drawings and models.
4. Overseeing construction activities to ensure adherence to designs and specifications.
5. Monitoring progress, quality, and safety at construction sites.
6. Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
7. Analyzing survey reports, maps, blueprints, and other data for planning.
8. Evaluating structural integrity and safety of structures.
9. Performing cost estimates and managing project budgets.
10. Ensuring compliance with regulations and obtaining necessary permits.
11. Maintaining environmental, health, and safety standards.
12. Liaising with clients, contractors, and officials regarding project updates.
13. Preparing reports, proposals, and presentations.
14. Providing technical advice for resolving construction or design issues.
15. Conducting inspections of completed projects and infrastructure.
16. Recommending repairs or upgrades as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations.
• This position requires in-person meetings and site visits.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Preferred:

• PE license or ability to obtain one.
• 3-5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with infrastructure projects like highways, bridges, or water systems.
