Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to support land development and power grid resiliency projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role involves leading design efforts across site layout, grading, and stormwater management for diverse developments.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in civil engineering and 8–10 years of erosion control and post-construction stormwater experience. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD proficiency are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead our current staff on the development of designs and plans for site layout and grading.
• Design erosion and sediment control and post-construction stormwater systems across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare NPDES permit applications and land development applications in accordance with laws.
• Ensure zoning compliance and related requirements for development projects.
