Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil Engineer (E.I.T) to support our design team in the Mid-Atlantic region, with projects in Hanover, MD and Mechanicsburg, PA. The role focuses on land development and power grid resiliency, involving site layout, grading, and permit applications.

You will contribute to erosion/sediment control, post-construction stormwater design, and zoning compliance while collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and Hydroflow.
• Engineer in Training Certificate.
• Understanding of Land Development Processes.
• Understanding of Zoning Ordinance Review & Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Site layout & grading.
• Erosion and sediment control design.
• Post construction stormwater management.
• Prepare NPDES permit applications.
• Land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
• Zoning compliances.
