Job summary

Kleinfelder, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to join our Design Services team on diverse development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, including land development and power grid resiliency. Positions are available in Hunt Valley, MD and Hanover (Baltimore), MD.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, 8–10 years of erosion and sediment control design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD. Licensure and EIT preferred.

• 8-10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design and post-construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Site layout & grading.
• Erosion and sediment control design.
• Post construction stormwater management in multiple state jurisdictions (PA, WV, OH, and MD preferred).
• Prepare NPDES permit applications.
• Land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
• Zoning compliances.
