Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Vero Beach, FL office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote position.

Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects, and work with a team of engineers and designers on diverse site designs while building strong client and contractor relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and project management support.
• Strong coordination with clients and meetings; oversee quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to produce plan sets and construction documents.
• Design experience including utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
