Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Panama City Beach, Florida office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our Land Development team. This is not a remote position and offers opportunities to lead site development for residential and commercial projects.

You will coordinate with clients, manage project tasks and budgets, and contribute to bid packages and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/storm drainage is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to build plan sets.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee quality standards and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on varied projects.
