Job summary
Stillpoint AEC in Houston, TX is seeking a Civil Engineer with land development and site civil expertise to lead design efforts for residential, commercial, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use projects. You will develop layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans while coordinating with clients, architects, municipalities, and contractors.
The role offers hybrid/onsite work options, opportunities for project leadership, mentorship, and support for PE licensure as your experience allows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- PE licensure preferred; EIT considered if progressing toward PE.
- Experience in land development/site civil design projects.
Responsibilities
- Design land development and site civil projects for residential, commercial, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties.
- Perform site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater, utility design, and erosion control.
- Develop site layouts, grading/ drainage plans, and construction drawings.
- Prepare hydrologic/hydraulic calculations and related design documents.
- Coordinate with developers, municipalities, and project teams; support permitting and approvals.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
