Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Alpharetta, GA office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our Land Development team. This on-site role offers opportunities to work on industrial and commercial projects and collaborate with seasoned professionals.

The ideal candidate will have PE licensure or progress toward it, strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, and a track record in permitting and plan set preparation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for Industrial and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in budgeting, scheduling, permitting for land disturbance, and preparation of bid packages and technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers, jurisdictions, and contractors.
